Pacha Thakkalikka Moru Curry

  • Tomato 3 medium
  • Curd 1.5 cup
  • Garlic pods 5
  • Shallots 5 to 8
  • Coconut 1 cup
  • Green chilly 4
  • Turmeric pdr 1/2 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 Tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Oil

Cook the sliced tomatoes with half of the shallots, green chilly, curry leaves, salt, water and turmeric pdr. Keep it aside. Grind together coconut, cumin seeds, rest of the shallots, garlic, chilly, curd, turmeric pdr and rqd amount of water. Then pour it into the cooked tomato and add salt. Heat it in low flame (do not boil). Season it with mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, shallots and curry leaves.
