Chicken Spirals


Ingredients:

  • Egg 1
  • Water 1 tbsp
  • Frozen puff pastry 1 sheet
  • Pepper pdr 1 tsp
  • Chicken 2 to 3 med pieces (cooked)
Clean and cut the chicken. Cook it with salt and little pepper powder. Chop the chicken into small pieces and keep it aside. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Beat egg and water until blended. Keep it aside. Unfold pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut it in half, lengthwise. Brush both pastry halves with egg mixture. Sprinkle the pepper pdr evenly over one of the pastry pieces. Spread the small chicken pieces (cooked) over pastry. Place remaining pastry over chicken. Roll it gently. Brush with additional egg mixture. Roll up tightly to form a log. Cut it crosswise into slices. Place this slices on a baking sheet and brush with remaining egg mixture.
Bake it for 12 to 14 min or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
