Muringa Poovu (Drumstick flower) Thoran


Ingredients:
  • Drumstick flowers 2 cup
  • Turmeric pdr 1/2 Tsp
  • Coconut 1 cup
  • Shallots  2 to 4
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Chilly 2 to 5
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Oil
Clean the flowers and soak it in turmeric water for 15 mins. Squeeze it well and keep it aside. Grind together coconut, chilly, shallots and turmeric pdr. Heat oil and add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add grounded coconut, curry leaves and salt. Saute it for a few mins and add the flowers. Mix it and sprinkle some water. Cook it in low flame.
