Dates Cake


Ingredients:
  • Egg 3
  • Dates 2 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Milk1/4 cup
  • Veg oil 1 cup
  • Baking soda 1/2 Tsp
  • Baking powder 1 Tsp
  • All purpose flour 2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 Tsp
  • Cashew nuts (optional)
  • Water
Soak the seedless dates in little water for 15 mins and grind it with  milk. Keep it aside. Add baking powder and baking soda into the flour and sieve it. Beat the sugar and egg well. Then pour oil into this and mix it. Combine together flour, egg mixture and vanilla essence. Finally add the grounded dates and chopped nuts (optional). Pour this batter into a greased pan and bake it for 40 to 45 mins at 190 deg C.
