- Wheat flour 2 cup
- Grated jaggery 2 cup
- Banana 3 (Palayankodan)
- Crushed cardamom 1 Tsp
- Sesame seeds 2 Tsp
- Ghee 2 Tsp
- Oil
Melt grated jaggery with 1/4 cup of water and sieve it. Cool it and mix it with wheat flour and banana. Mash it well. Add crushed cardamom, sesame seeds and ghee into this and keep it aside for 1/2 hr. Heat oil in a unniyappam pan or in a kadai. Pour batter into oil and fry well.
