Ingredients:
- Prawns 1/2 kg
- Onion 1 big(sliced)
- Ginger 1 big piece (finelly chopped)
- Garlic 5 to 6 pods(finelly chopped)
- Coconut flakes 1/4 cup
- Chilly pdr 1 1/2tbsp
- Corriander pdr 1/2 to 3/4 tsp
- Turmeric pdr 1/4 tsp
- Kudampuli 3 no
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds
- Water as rqd
- Salt
- Oil
Clean and wash the prawns. Add the onion(1/4 cup), ginger, garlic and coconut flakes. Add all the powders, curry leaves and kudampuli (wash the kudampuli well). Add little water and cook it for 10 to 15 mins. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard. When it splutters, add rest of the onion and saute well. When it turns golden brown, add the cooked prawns into it and saute well.
I tired it. Passing on all the compliments coming my way over to you too. Only thing I did differently was to do the sauting first, added the ingredients, sauted everything and then put in the prawns and cooked. Turned out delicious. :-) Thanks once again
